Mark Comish's goal propelled Bishop Sullivan to its first and only state soccer title. Vandebilt, making its second
state final appearance, lost. Sullivan's heart attack season almost came to an end against St. Thomas More in the
Semifinals. There, Kevin Jones of Sullivan scored with only 20 seconds remaining in the second sudden death overtime period.
