St. Louis won its second title under Coach Jason Oertling in a row.  St. Louis remains undefeated in title games with a 2-0 
record.  Newman under coach Gerry Mueller appeared in its fourth title game, losing its second.  

The appearance of St. Thomas Aquinas and Pope John Paul established their district as one of the toughest in state.  
St. Thomas made its and only appearance in the Semifinals.  Pope John Paul made its second appearance in the Semifinals, 
with its first coming in 1993.
