The Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association was formed to promote high school soccer throughout the state. 

Key functions of LHSSCA include:

• Promoting soccer throughout the state
• Representing high school soccer with the LHSAA
• Regularly ranking the soccer programs through polls
• Naming the All State teams
• Coordinating the annual All-Star Classic
